Dreamer came to DSR as a 6 month old colt from the Yakima Reservation in Washington. He shipped with his herd brother StarFire from Dustin Time Rescue in Pocatello, ID. They arrived in October of 2020. I was so excited and could not wait to meet him. Both colts were relatively unhandled, scared and needed a lot of love.
Dreamer left in February of 2024 to continue his life journey. He is off to become a pack horse in Wyoming. He will have a lead horse teaching him how to be a good citizen and help him gain the confidence he needs. Good luck, Dreamer. You are missed.

Update: 2022 – 01 – 25
Dreamer continues to grow. He’s rather big for a coming two year old. He consistently stays butt high and withers low. He never stops eating. He has an amazing personality and tries super hard to be patient and kind. He still fear responses pretty big, but the responses are much less compared to his brother, StarFire.
